Regeringskoalition når til enighed om finansiering af reservekraftværker

CDU, CSU og SPD er nået til enighed om finansiering af reservekapacitet under Strom-Versorgungssicherheits- und Kapazitätengesetz (loven om elforsyningssikkerhed og kapacitet). Flere involverede i forhandlingerne har bekræftet dette over for Handelsblatt. Ændringerne kommer især mindre kraftværksoperatører og batterilagringsindustrien til gode. Lovforslaget fra det føderale økonomiministerium har været i den parlamentariske proces siden begyndelsen af juni. Formålet med loven er at skabe incitamenter til anlæg, der leverer strøm, når produktionen fra vedvarende energikilder er utilstrækkelig. Sådanne perioder betegnes som Dunkelflauten.
