Two 21-year-olds face second-degree murder charges after police say they killed a former soldier near Tacoma and dumped his body outside a military base.
Aydee Casado-Dominguez and Humberto Rodriguez Hernandez were arrested after Tacoma police investigated the disappearance of Caelick Bradley. Officers found his remains wrapped in blankets and tied with ratchet straps just outside Joint Base Lewis-McChord.
According to a probable cause affidavit, Bradley was shot during an argument over pictures on his phone. Hernandez, an active-duty soldier, told investigators that Casado-Dominguez fired at Bradley, chased him when he fled, and brought him back to their apartment where he died.
The pair used Bradley's bank card at a Walmart the day before his mother reported him missing on June 12. Both suspects have pleaded not guilty and remain in the Pierce County Jail on $1 million bonds. Their next court date is July 22.
Bradley served in the Army at the base from 2017 to 2023 and worked as a security guard at the time of his death.
