Grundlægger af Flugsvamp udvist til Sverige

Alexander Gustafsson, grundlæggeren af darknet-siden Flugsvamp 2.0, er blevet udvist fra Tyrkiet til Sverige. Han landede i Arlanda lufthavn fredag for at afsone en fængselsstraf på 11 år og otte måneder.

Gustafsson blev i 2022 dømt ved landsretten for særlig alvorlig narkotikakriminalitet efter at have drevet siden fra sit hjem i Lund. Han flygtede til udlandet kort før domsafsigelsen og blev anholdt i Tyrkiet i juli 2024. Politiet oplyste, at han var blevet udvist og landede kort før kl. 16 i Arlanda. Irene Sokolow fra politiets nationale mediecenter bekræftede hændelsen og takkede det tyrkiske politi for samarbejdet. Myndighederne har desuden sikret kryptovaluta til en værdi af 127,6 millioner svenske kroner fra Gustafssons kriminelle udbytte. Beløbet, der primært består af bitcoin, er blevet solgt af Kronofogden og tilfalder nu statskassen. Statsadvokat Annika Wennerström bemærkede, at kryptovaluta ikke er anonym, da det kræver traditionel valuta til hverdagens udgifter.
