Flugsvamp-grundare deporterad till Sverige

Alexander Gustafsson, grundare av darknetsajten Flugsvamp 2.0, har deporterats från Turkiet till Sverige. Han landade på Arlanda flygplats på fredagen för att avtjäna ett fängelsestraff på 11 år och åtta månader.

Gustafsson dömdes 2022 i hovrätten för synnerligen grovt narkotikabrott efter att ha drivit sajten från sitt hem i Lund. Han flydde utomlands strax före domen och greps i Turkiet i juli 2024.

Polisen uppger att han deporterades och landade strax före klockan 16 på Arlanda. Irene Sokolow på polisens nationella mediecenter bekräftade händelsen och tackade turkisk polis för samarbetet.

Samtidigt har myndigheterna säkrat kryptovaluta värd 127,6 miljoner kronor från Gustafssons brottsvinster. Beloppet, som främst består av bitcoin, har sålts av Kronofogden och går nu till statskassan. Senior åklagare Annika Wennerström noterade att kryptovaluta inte är anonymt eftersom det kräver traditionell valuta för vardagliga utgifter.
