Tributes poured in from collaborators. BlocBoy JB posted on Instagram: “Damn Cuz You Just Hurt Me Bad. We talked everyday.” Fellow producer Hitkidd wrote: “I ain’t even got the words, we been doing this since 2010.”

Keith founded the DRUMATIZED label in Nashville, the city’s second Black-owned studio. He had discussed creating a scholarship at his alma mater, Middle Tennessee State University, before his death.
