IVO kritiserer Länssjukhuset Ryhov efter forkerte hjertediagnoser hos børn

Ifølge IVO har regionen ikke udført tilstrækkelige risikoanalyser eller reageret på advarselssignaler. Ledelsen havde modtaget advarsler om lægen flere år tidligere, men vedkommende fortsatte sit arbejde. Berørte familier kræver åbenhed og ansvarlighed fra ledelsens side i en udtalelse til Aftonbladet. De ønsker ikke, at ansvaret placeres hos personalet, der slog alarm. Liberalerna foreslår en national reform kaldet Lex Hjärtebarnen for at styrke patientbeskyttelsen. Region Jönköpings län skal indrapportere tiltag inden sommerens udgang.
