Jens Spahn tilbyder SPD fælles forslag til indkomstskattereform

CDU-parlamentsgruppens formand Jens Spahn har foreslået, at SPD i fællesskab udarbejder et udkast til en indkomstskattereform. Formålet er at aflaste små og mellemstore indkomster uden offentlige stridigheder.

Spahn understregede i Rheinische Post, at begge partier er enige om målet. Han foreslog at fremlægge forslaget i fællesskab for at undgå konflikter. Finansminister Lars Klingbeil havde tidligere annonceret reformen på koalitionens jubilæum og understreget, at den skal være budgetvenlig.

Spahn advarede mod alt for høje skattesatser for topindkomster som en modfinansieringsforanstaltning. I stedet er der brug for midler uden for skattesystemet. Han afviste også at suspendere gældsbremsen og pegede på den føderale regerings AAA-rating.

I koalitionsaftalen havde Unionen og SPD forpligtet sig til at sænke indkomstskatten for små og mellemstore indkomster midt i valgperioden. SPD-parlamentsgruppens formand Matthias Miersch havde tidligere overvejet en mulig suspendering af gældsbremsen i tilfælde af en langvarig Irankrise.
