Liberal kandidat dømt for sort løn til moldoviske bygningsarbejdere

Göran Lignell, en liberal kandidat til det svenske parlament, blev i 2021 dømt for økonomisk kriminalitet i forbindelse med udbetaling af sort løn til moldoviske bygningsarbejdere i Göteborg-området.

Aktiviteterne fandt sted fra 2016 til 2018 gennem to selskaber, hvor Lignell var ejer og administrerende direktør. Virksomhederne fløj omkring hundrede arbejdere ind fra Moldova til badeværelsesrenoveringer, men mange af dem manglede gyldige arbejdstilladelser.

Skatteforvaltningen konstaterede, at 1,8 millioner kroner blev udbetalt som sort løn via Lignells private konto. Han blev idømt en betinget dom og 120 timers samfundstjeneste for hindring af skattekontrol og bogføringskriminalitet.

Kim Söderström, formand for fagforbundet Byggnads, kaldte ordningen for et eksempel på byggefusk og kritiserede Lignell for at stille op til parlamentet. Lignell har givet sin forretningspartner skylden og udtalt, at han endte i en svær situation mellem forskellige love.
