Liberal kandidat dömdes för svarta löner till moldaviska byggarbetare

Göran Lignell, riksdagskandidat för Liberalerna, dömdes 2021 för skattebrott kopplade till svarta löner för moldaviska byggnadsarbetare i Göteborgsområdet.

Verksamheten pågick mellan 2016 och 2018 genom två bolag där Lignell var ägare och vd. Bolagen flög in omkring hundra arbetare från Moldavien för badrumsrenoveringar, men många saknade giltiga arbetstillstånd.

Skatteverket fann att 1,8 miljoner kronor betalades ut som svarta löner via Lignells privata konto. Han dömdes till villkorlig dom och 120 timmars samhällstjänst för försvårande av skattekontroll och bokföringsbrott.

Kim Söderström, ordförande för Byggnads, kallade upplägget för ett exempel på byggmaffia och kritiserade att Lignell kandiderar till riksdagen. Lignell har skyllt på sin affärskompanjon och sagt att han hamnade i en svår situation mellan olika lagar.
