A 67-year-old Florida man faces charges after allegedly attacking his wife at their Miami home in multiple ways, including an attempt to smother her and a failed shooting. The incident occurred on a Friday evening.
Fael Francois is charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault and domestic violence battery following the assault at a residence in the 1100 block of NW 114th Street. Authorities say the victim was sleeping when Francois grabbed a pillow and tried to smother her. She escaped but was then grabbed, shaken and slapped, according to the probable cause affidavit.
