Industrial metal band Ministry will release its 17th and final studio album on October 30. Frontman Al Jourgensen said he is done after decades in the music industry.
The album, titled Hate to Go (Take Out or Delivery), will arrive via Cleopatra Records. It includes the single "Burned Out" and closes with "We’re Still Here," which features classic lineup member Paul Barker.
Jourgensen stated in a release, “I’m fucking done.” He added that he is proud of the band’s path from its 1981 start in Chicago through 17 albums and is ready to “herd goats.”
A series of farewell shows begins this year with dates in the United States, including Red Rocks in Morrison, Colorado, on September 15. The Goodbye Europe Tour starts April 2, 2027, in Utrecht, Netherlands, with support from Die Krupps and continues across the continent.
The band, known as pioneers of industrial music, has also scheduled additional U.S. appearances at Louder Than Life and Sick New World Texas later this year.
