Nyt AI-knudepunkt etableret i Dalarna med 24,6 millioner kroner

Dalarna Science Park har fået bevilget 24,6 millioner kroner til at lancere et AI-knudepunkt, der skal støtte virksomheder og organisationer.

Regeringen har som mål, at Sverige skal blive en af verdens ti førende AI-nationer. Finansieringen kommer fra Den Europæiske Fond for Regionaludvikling, Region Dalarna, Högskolan Dalarna samt private fonde.

Dalarna Science Park leder projektet sammen med en række partnere, herunder Högskolan Dalarna, Ecodatacenter, Atea, Consid, Sogeti, Nordlo, Fortum, Falu Energi och Vatten, Borlänge Energi og Nordion Energi.

"Dalarna skal være stedet, hvor AI bliver til virkelighed", siger Angelica Ekholm, administrerende direktør for Dalarna Science Park. Jörgen Elbe, rektor ved Högskolan Dalarna, fremhæver regionens unikke forudsætninger gennem kombinationen af energi, digital infrastruktur, industri og akademia.
