Nike reklamerer for ny DFB-trøje i New York

Nike har reklameret for det nye tyske landsholdstøj med et banner på et skib i New York. Fra 2027 vil det amerikanske firma afløse Adidas som tøjleverandør.

Torsdag sejlede et skib på Hudson-floden foran New Yorks skyline med banneret "Hallo New Jersey". Plakaten viste spilleren Jamal Musiala iført en kraftigt pixeleret trøje, hvis design Nike endnu ikke har afsløret. Reklamebanneret refererer til delstaten New Jersey, hvor det tyske hold spillede samme aften. Med sloganet leger Nike med det engelske ord "Jersey", der både betyder en trøje og navnet på delstaten. Fra 2027 vil Nike levere tøj til landsholdet og afslutte det mere end 70-årige samarbejde med Adidas. Skiftet sikrer det amerikanske firma et prestigefyldt partnerskab på konkurrentens hjemmemarked.
