Prime Minister Says Medemer Artificial Intelligence University Construction to Finish Soon

Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed told parliament that construction of the Medemer Artificial Intelligence University will be completed within a few months.

The Prime Minister outlined ongoing work in the education sector while addressing lawmakers. He noted special attention given to the lower education foundation.

No new regular universities have been built in the past seven years, he said, as efforts focused on quality. However the government recognized artificial intelligence and technology transfer as key to future growth.

Construction of the modern Artificial Intelligence University is proceeding with high standards, he added, making it unmatched in Africa.
