Prøver af jord og luft er blevet taget, og de første test viser ikke forhøjede niveauer af stoffer, sagde Gidlund. 'Nu fortsætter vi og tager flere prøver. Jeg ved ikke, hvornår resultaterne kommer,' sagde han til TT. Arbejdet i den berørte sektion vil ikke blive genoptaget, før resultaterne foreligger. SSAB bygger i øjeblikket et elektrisk stålværk i Luleå som en del af et igangværende projekt.
