Filippa Axelsson, 19, from Åmål graduated after becoming a mother in the middle of her studies at Herrgårdsgymnasiet in Säffle.
Filippa Axelsson, 19, received the pregnancy news while in her second year on the children and leisure program. She continued her studies despite periods of illness and was on sick leave at times.
She completed her internship as a new mother at a preschool where daughter Junie joined a few times. The teachers were not very happy about the situation but she caught up on missed material.
After graduation Filippa traveled with her class to Rhodes for a week. She felt unwell from being away from her daughter. Junie turns one in a few weeks and starts preschool on September 30.
