Wahlbeteiligung von 69,05 % bei der zivilen Vorprüfung in Puducherry

Insgesamt 1.546 von mehr als 2.239 angemeldeten Kandidaten nahmen am Sonntag in Puducherry an der zivilen Vorprüfung teil, was einer Wahlbeteiligung von 69,05 % entspricht.

Die Union Public Service Commission führte die Prüfung an sieben Unterzentren in der Stadt durch. Die Sitzungen fanden am Vormittag von 9.30 Uhr bis 11.30 Uhr und am Nachmittag von 14.30 Uhr bis 16.30 Uhr statt.Die Bezirksverwaltung stellte spezielle Busse bereit, um die Kandidaten zu den Veranstaltungsorten zu befördern. Dazu gehörten die Thiruvalluvar Government Girls Higher Secondary School, das Tagore Government Arts and Science College, die Vallalar Government Girls HSS, die Annai Sivagami Government Girls HSS, die Fatima HSS, das Kanchi Mamunivar Centre for Postgraduate Studies and Research Institute sowie das Bharathidasan Government College for Women.Dieselben Busse brachten die Kandidaten nach Ende der Prüfung um 16.30 Uhr wieder in die Stadt zurück.
