A child became trapped in a package box in Slavsta, Uppsala on Tuesday evening. Rescue services were alerted shortly after 7 PM and broke open the cabinet to free the child.
The alarm came in shortly after 7 PM. The child had climbed into the box but was unable to get out independently.
Rescue services responded to the location. The operation concluded once the child had been removed from the package box.
The child is out and doing well, says Micke, operations operator at the rescue service.

A school-age boy died after an accident at Vallhovsskolan in Sandviken on Friday. He got stuck in a container and was taken by ambulance to hospital but his injuries proved fatal.
