Danhausen open to retiring cape if Knicks win NBA title

Danhausen has expressed willingness to retire his signature cape should the New York Knicks claim the NBA championship. The wrestler discussed the idea during an appearance on The Sal Licata Show.

Danhausen said his Cameo page receives frequent requests to curse or uncurse various sports teams. He noted that the New York Knicks are the only team he knows to be uncursed after his earlier actions involving Stephen A. Smith in April.

The Knicks stand one game from winning the NBA Finals against the San Antonio Spurs. Danhausen credited his April uncursing of the team with sparking their playoff success.

Speaking on the show, Danhausen said, “Oh, perhaps we could hang a Danhausen cape up there to commemorate his contributions to this wonderful playoff run.” He added that his Cameo remains filled with overlapping curse and uncurse requests from fans.

WWE is currently discussing plans for Danhausen in the event the Knicks win the title.
