Modo Hockey hat den Verteidiger Elias Rosén von den Växjö Lakers verpflichtet. Der 27-jährige, aus der Jugend von Leksands stammende Spieler wechselt trotz eines noch laufenden Vertrages für ein weiteres Jahr den Verein.

Several teams in SHL and HockeyAllsvenskan made key moves as the transfer window closed on Sunday night. Modo Hockey strengthened its defense and goaltending, while other clubs like Djurgården and Södertälje added forwards. Oskarshamn parted ways with a defenseman amid roster adjustments.

Jakob Hellsten, the 26-year-old goaltender who joined Modo Hockey mid-February, has signed a two-year contract extension with the club. He will continue partnering with Adam Werner in goal. The deal comes shortly after Modo's playoff semifinal loss to BIK Karlskoga.

Modo Hockey presented its first two new players for the 2026/27 season on Tuesday: center Arvid Caderoth from Vimmerby and defenseman Oskar Wahlberg from Frölunda. Caderoth, who served as assistant captain in Vimmerby, signed a two-year deal. Sport chief Henrik Gradin called Caderoth a leader and strong faceoff specialist.

Leksands IF has extended the contract of forward Arvid Eljas, marking the first new deal since the team's relegation from SHL to Hockeyallsvenskan. Sportchef Jesper Ollas praised Eljas' leadership and commitment to the club's rebuild. The club also confirmed continuity in its coaching staff and young players in the squad.

Östersund announced defenseman Erik Flood as its first signing for the 2026/27 HockeyAllsvenskan season. The player, who spent last season in Slovakia, has previously played for Kristianstad, Vita Hästen, AIK and Västerås in the league. Flood has inked a two-year deal with the club.
