EvieB kündigt Retro-Soul-Single 'Living in a standstill' an

EvieB erklärt: „the song explores the feeling of being stuck in a rut, of questioning progress and direction in life. It speaks particularly to the uncertainty of pursuing a career in the creative industry, where the future can feel unpredictable and security hard to grasp. The track was inspired by conversations I’ve had with people across all ages and professions, which revealed just how universal this sense of unease and stagnation is.“  Aufgenommen mit ihrem langjährigen Collaborateur und Produzenten John Reynolds – der mit Sinéad O’Connor, Peter Gabriel und U2 gearbeitet hat – bringt der Single einen Retro-Soul-Vibe in ihren Sound. EvieB hat zuvor irische Musikikonen wie Mary Black, Mundy und Mary Coughlan unterstützt und Bühnen mit Sharon Shannon, Cait O’Riordan und Camille O’Sullivan geteilt. Sie wurde von Medien wie Hot Press, RTÉ, Ireland AM, Beta Da Silva, 2FM und the 6 O’Clock Show gefördert.  Diese Veröffentlichung folgt auf ihren Debüt-Single 'Out of the Light' im März 2024, 'Fading on Me' später in diesem Jahr und 'Atlantic Way' 2025.
