A multi-family house in central Malung was hit by a fire on Monday afternoon. The rescue service sent seven units and three ambulances to the scene.
The alarm came in at 14:15. The stairwell was filled with smoke and smoke entered through vents according to the caller.
SOS Alarm confirmed the fire appeared to be in an apartment. The building was evacuated.
By 15:00 the fire had been extinguished. It had started on the second floor while the third floor remained smoke-filled. Rescue services estimated they would finish work by 17:00.
