A fire broke out on Thursday evening in a multi-family house in Gävle. Rescue services evacuated the entire building together with police.
The fire started on the first floor and spread through the ventilation system all the way to the roof. Several apartments were damaged but no one was injured. The affected residents gathered in a nearby location. It remains unclear when they can return to their homes. The building has eight floors according to rescue service information.
