A holiday home at Norr Amsberg in Borlänge was completely destroyed by fire on Easter Saturday. Rescue services were alerted just after 3:30 pm and could not save the building. No one was injured.
Rescue services were alerted to the scene around 3:30 pm on Saturday following reports of a fire in the holiday home at Norr Amsberg in Borlänge. Upon arrival, the house was fully engulfed.
"The house cannot be saved, it is totally damaged," said the duty officer at the rescue service. Personnel worked to prevent the fire from spreading to the surroundings.
Two ambulances and police were dispatched to the site, but the ambulances later left without any patients. At 5:30 pm, one rescue unit remained on site.
It remains unclear whether the fire will be classified as a crime.
