Grupo Aval und Visa kündigten die Eröffnung von Veranstaltungsorten und Aktivitäten zur FIFA-Weltmeisterschaft 2026 in mehreren kolumbianischen Städten an.

Die Erlebnisse stehen vom 11. Juni bis zum 19. Juli für Visa-Karteninhaber der Banken Banco de Bogotá, Banco de Occidente, Banco Popular, Banco AV Villas und dale! zur Verfügung. In Medellín, Barranquilla und Cali werden am 27. Juni Public-Viewing-Events für das Spiel Kolumbien gegen Portugal stattfinden. Zu den Veranstaltungsorten gehören das Museo de Arte Moderno in Medellín, der Malecón in Barranquilla und die Arena Cañaveralejo in Cali, die neben Live-Musik auch Preisverlosungen bieten. Zusätzlich werden 10 Plätze für eine komplett bezahlte Reise nach Deutschland vergeben, um nach dem Turnier den Fußballspieler Luis Díaz zu treffen. Die Auswahl basiert auf dem Ausgabenvolumen mit den Visa-Karten der zum Konzern gehörenden Banken.
