Hong Kong police arrest 36-year-old man over sexual assaults

Hong Kong police have arrested a 36-year-old man suspected of sexually assaulting four intoxicated victims and recording the acts.

Hong Kong police arrested the suspect on Monday after a 19-year-old victim reported waking up naked with pain in a Tsim Sha Tsui guest house. The man had gone drinking in Central in the early hours of Saturday and passed out on the street.

Inspector Tsang Chi-ho of the Yau Tsim district crime squad said investigators used security camera footage to identify and arrest the 36-year-old. The alleged offences involve three other victims aged between 19 and 23.

The charges include non-consensual buggery, unlawful recording of genitals, drug possession and gross indecency. Police have provisionally charged the suspect.
