Isabella Walker und Stoneleigh Showtime gewinnen vierten Titel in Windsor

Isabella Walker und ihr Pony Stoneleigh Showtime sicherten sich die vierte Show-Pony-Meisterschaft in Folge bei der Royal Windsor Horse Show. Das Paar gewann die Bernard Weatherill Trophy bei ihrem letzten gemeinsamen Auftritt in dieser Klasse.

Stoneleigh Showtime, ein achtjähriger, von Stephanie Horton gezüchteter Cusop-Dimension-Wallach, gewann die 128-cm-Klasse, bevor er sich den Gesamttitel sicherte. Isabella Walker beschrieb den Sieg als den besondersten ihrer vier Erfolge und merkte an, dass er das Ende ihrer Partnerschaft markiere, da sie die Klasse in diesem Jahr verlässt.

Ros Canter and Lordships Graffalo won the Mars Badminton Horse Trials for a record third time on 10 May after a clear showjumping round. The pair finished 8.2 penalties ahead of the field to make history at the event.

Isabella Stanley secured her first Royal Windsor win in 15 years by claiming the 153cm working hunter pony class and the overall championship. Riding Samantha Stanley’s Moorland Whiterider, she was the only clear round in a challenging course.

Bob Beaty and his granddaughter Bronte Crosby enjoyed success at the Fell Pony Society’s 2026 Stallion and Colt Show on 9 May. Their ponies Oscar II and Stennerskeugh Nicholas took the top honours in the stallion and gelding sections. The event was held at Dalemain House near Ullswater.

Ravenstone Fudge II secured the 2026 Royal Windsor mountain and moorland ridden championship. The 14-year-old New Forest gelding was ridden by Stephanie Turner to victory in the Castle Arena. The win also earned the pair a spot at the London International Heritage championship.

Five-year-old Fell stallion Bracklinn Sonny Bill captured the 2026 Windsor M&M in-hand championship at the Royal Windsor Horse Show. The pony, known at home as Guardian, was led by breeder Alistair Smith in the Castle Arena. He had earlier secured the Fell championship before advancing to the supreme title.

British paralympian Sophie Wells rode her Ontario LC to victory in the Equi-Trek elementary gold at the NAF Five Star Winter Dressage Championships, scoring 72.48% on April 17. The seven-year-old gelding also earned silver in the Spillers medium freestyle gold the previous day. Several other riders claimed top spots in various classes at Addington Equestrian.

Luxembourg rider Victor Bettendorf claimed victory in the €125,000 Rolex grand prix at Royal Windsor Horse Show on May 18. Riding the 10-year-old Qwando Van De Rispen, he set the winning time in a five-rider jump-off. British riders took the next three places behind him.
