Coach Hong Myung-bo made one change from the lineup against Czechia, with Kim Moon-hwan replacing Lee Tae-seok. Mexico will be without Cesar Montes, who was sent off against South Africa.
Hong Myung-bo described a drone spotted over the training ground as "unfortunate" but insisted it "did not impact us significantly."
