San Francisco Giants outfielder Lee Jung-hoo extended his career-best hitting streak to 13 games with a double against the Chicago Cubs on June 5.
Lee Jung-hoo went 1-for-4 with a double, a run scored and a hit-by-pitch at Wrigley Field. He delivered the double in the fifth inning off Phil Maton for his 14th two-bagger of the season. In the sixth he was hit by a Hoby Milner pitch and later scored on Matt Chapman’s home run. The Giants routed the Cubs 18-3 while collecting 19 hits. Lee is batting .321 this year and ranks fourth in MLB. The Giants lead the majors with 132 doubles.
