MLB partners with RISE Worldwide to grow baseball in India

Major League Baseball has announced a new partnership with RISE Worldwide to expand the sport across India. The collaboration will focus on fan experiences, digital content and a live event planned for Mumbai in October. It builds on years of grassroots efforts that have rapidly increased participation in the country.

The partnership was announced on Wednesday. It aims to introduce baseball to wider audiences through events and media while strengthening cultural ties via sport. Noah Garden, MLB's deputy commissioner for business and media, called it a key milestone in the league's international strategy. A RISE Worldwide spokesperson highlighted India's dynamic sports market and baseball's global appeal as reasons for the timing of the deal.
