New jersey man charged with barbell murder of wife

A 67-year-old New Jersey man faces first-degree murder charges after allegedly beating his wife to death with a barbell at their home. Authorities say Michael A. Kless killed his 66-year-old wife Stacy E. Kless after nearly 40 years of marriage.

Police responded to a home in the 100 block of Seward Drive in Ocean Township around 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday after receiving reports of a murder. Officers found Stacy Kless dead inside and later located her husband unconscious in his vehicle at a rest stop off the Garden State Parkway. He remains in critical condition at a hospital.
