A new retail chain is coming to Falun. The chain will offer cheap sausages, leisure items and motor accessories.
The Tallskogen area in Falun is developing as a new commercial and residential zone. It lies across E16 from the Tallenområdet. Shops including City Gross, Jula and Systembolaget already operate there. Additional businesses are now planned alongside a villa district. Details from Dala-Demokraten confirm that the long-awaited chain will soon establish itself in the city.

Ikea plans to move its Borlänge store from Norra Backa to smaller premises in Kupolen in 2027. Municipal chairman Erik Nises (S) is disappointed over the short notice. It remains unclear how the move will affect the roughly 230 employees.

Die ursprünglichen Käufer, die dort eine schwedische Brasserie geplant hatten, haben sich dazu entschlossen, an den neuen Barbetreiber weiterzuverkaufen. Dies markiert eine unerwartete Wendung für den beliebten Standort.
Die Bauarbeiten am Fisktorget und in der Köpmangatan in Örebro werden heute unterbrochen, um den Platz für die Sommersaison zu öffnen. Die Arbeiten werden Ende August wieder aufgenommen. Projektleiter Peter Natanaelsson von der Stadt Örebro gibt an, dass das Projekt im Zeitplan liegt.
