Sandviken took the lead early through Alan Carleton. ÖSK equalized after 26 minutes when Antonio Yakoub headed in a corner from Christopher Redenstrand.
Antonio Yakoub was cautioned for blowing kisses toward the Sandviken supporters. "I am still a bit Giffare at heart", says Yakoub who previously played for Gefle.
ÖSK goalkeeper Jakub Ojrzyński made a save on Sandviken's top scorer in a one-on-one situation. Whether he should have been sent off was discussed afterward.
Manasse Kusu was substituted after 57 minutes due to a hip injury. ÖSK risk going into the summer break below the relegation line.
