Addis Abeba, 19. Megabit 2018 EC – Die nationale Wahlbehörde Äthiopiens (NEBE) gab bekannt, dass sich 28.366.310 Wähler für die bevorstehende siebte Parlamentswahl registriert haben.

Die Wählerregistrierung begann am 28. Yekatit 2018 EC und wird sowohl über digitale als auch über manuelle Methoden durchgeführt. Diese Zahl deckt die Registrierungen vom Beginn des Prozesses bis zum jetzigen Zeitpunkt ab.

Die Geschlechterverteilung zeigt 13.047.743 Frauen und 15.317.057 Männer unter den registrierten Wählern.
