Tesla Semi factory nears completion in Nevada ahead of production ramp

Tesla is nearing completion of its dedicated Semi truck factory in Nevada, now entering the tooling phase as volume production and deliveries are set to begin later this year. Following last month's announcement of production start and specs, the facility could produce 50,000 vehicles annually once fully operational, potentially generating over $13 billion in revenue.

Tesla Inc. (TSLA) provided an update on its Semi truck factory in Nevada, stating it is approaching completion and entering the tooling phase, per a recent post on X. This positions the company for imminent volume production and deliveries of the electric semi-truck later this year.

The update builds on February's reveal of final specs for the Semi's Standard Range (325 miles) and Long Range (500 miles) variants, now quoted at $290,000 for the long-range model before fees and taxes. A first-look image from the X post highlights the factory's scale.

Unlike the Cybertruck, which has lagged delivery targets, the Semi factory aims to expand Tesla's commercial vehicle offerings. Retail sentiment on Stocktwits for TSLA shifted from extremely bullish to bullish recently, amid a 45% stock rise over the past year.
