Woman in her 20s raped in central Uppsala

A woman in her mid-20s was subjected to rape in central Uppsala on Friday evening.

The alarm reached police just before midnight on Friday. No person has been arrested.

Police spokesperson Pelle Vanstad stated that he cannot provide further comments on the case at present. Police will work intensively on the matter during the day.

Police have not provided details on whether the rape occurred indoors or outdoors or whether the woman suffered serious physical injuries.
