Cadillac used its Miami Grand Prix debut to build fan connections with a series of activations and displays around the city. The new Formula 1 team combined road car reveals with sponsor events and a custom livery.
The team took over Jungle Plaza in the Miami Design District for a free two-day fan event that included an appearance by driver Sergio Perez on Saturday. General Motors ran F1-themed Cadillac ads at Miami International Airport and placed a car display at Hard Rock Stadium, the grand prix venue. On Friday, GM chief executive Mary Barra presented a limited-run CT5-V Blackwing F1 Collector Series production car at the Autosport Business Exchange.
