Two women in Florida have been charged after authorities say a former close friendship turned into stalking, threats, and a home burglary that caused thousands of dollars in damage.
Natasha Howell, 26, faces charges of burglary of an unoccupied dwelling, aggravated stalking, writing a threat to kill, and criminal libel. Her co-defendant, 23-year-old Kassandra Mitiale, is charged with burglary of an occupied dwelling, aggravated stalking, and criminal mischief causing damage over $1,000.
The victim told investigators she had been friends with Howell since middle school in North Lauderdale. The pair fell out in May 2025, after which Howell allegedly posted threats on social media, including a photo of a pistol and statements in Patois that she intended to use the firearm.
Mitiale joined the alleged harassment on May 14, 2025, when the two women called the victim and later damaged her home. On May 26, deputies responded to reports that the front door had been kicked in and personal items including a television and couch were destroyed, with damage estimated at $3,000.
Howell remains in custody in Broward County while Mitiale posted bond on June 4. No future court dates have been listed in available records.
