Vizag Collector directs action plan for Bay City Project

Visakhapatnam District Collector M. Abhishikth Kishore has asked officials to prepare a detailed action plan for the proposed Bay City Project in the Visakha Economic Region.

The directive came during a meeting at the Collectorate on Friday. Officials from the Visakhapatnam Metropolitan Region Development Authority and the Revenue Department were instructed to compile a database of government and private lands in the project area. This includes details on land extent, ownership, current use and development potential.

Mr. Abhishikth Kishore called for land parcel mapping and classification for residential, commercial, industrial, tourism and infrastructure uses. He also sought an integrated connectivity plan linking the project to the wider economic region and asked officials to examine Kailasagiri for wellness and adventure tourism.

The meeting was attended by VMRDA Metropolitan Commissioner Tej Bharat, Joint Collector Gobbilla Vidyadhari and other senior officials.
