Motociclista de 58 años muere en un accidente en el Eastern Harbour Crossing

Un motociclista de 58 años falleció tras perder el control de su vehículo y volcar dentro del túnel Eastern Harbour Crossing de Hong Kong la madrugada del jueves, informó la policía.

La policía indicó que el accidente ocurrió en Kwun Tong poco después de la medianoche, alrededor de las 00:51, cuando la motocicleta circulaba por el túnel en dirección a la isla de Hong Kong.

Se cree que el vehículo golpeó el bordillo del lado izquierdo antes de derrapar y volcar. El conductor, un hombre de 58 años de apellido Woo, sufrió graves heridas en la cabeza y fue trasladado de urgencia al Hospital United Christian en Kwun Tong.

Fue declarado muerto a las 03:46. El caso fue reclasificado posteriormente como un accidente de tráfico mortal, y el Equipo Especial de Investigación de Tráfico de Kowloon Este se hizo cargo de las indagatorias.
