Pekín revelará los detalles de implementación a mediados de junio para una política que permitirá a los yates registrados en Hong Kong un acceso más sencillo a puertos designados en la parte continental de la Gran Área de la Bahía.

El Consejo de Estado está renovando las políticas marítimas, eximiendo a los yates de Hong Kong y Macao de las garantías aduaneras y simplificando el registro en la Gran Área de la Bahía.

La política se aplica a los yates que entran y salen temporalmente a través de puertos designados en nueve ciudades de la parte continental: Cantón, Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Foshan, Huizhou, Dongguan, Zhongshan, Jiangmen y Zhaoqing, siempre que las embarcaciones permanezcan dentro de la jurisdicción de esas ciudades.

El puerto de Nansha se encuentra entre las instalaciones marítimas designadas y es el único en Cantón, aunque aún no se han revelado las ubicaciones específicas. La Oficina de Transporte y Logística indicó que las nuevas políticas permitirían los viajes individuales en yate dentro de la zona, ya que reducen significativamente la carga financiera para los propietarios de yates de Hong Kong y Macao, y les permiten obtener certificados temporales sin afectar el registro original de su embarcación.

El área de la bahía es un ambicioso proyecto lanzado por Pekín en 2019 para vincular nueve ciudades de la parte continental con Hong Kong y Macao en un polo económico integrado.
