Maestros de la CNTE marcharon este viernes 15 de mayo hacia el Zócalo de la Ciudad de México, mientras la Secretaría de Educación Pública anunció un incremento salarial del 9 por ciento para el magisterio.

La marcha de la Coordinadora Nacional de Trabajadores de la Educación comenzó a las 9:00 de la mañana desde puntos como el Metro San Cosme y el Metro Buenavista. El contingente principal llegó al Zócalo alrededor de la 1:00 de la tarde por la calle República de Brasil.

El secretario de Educación Pública, Mario Delgado, confirmó el aumento salarial del 9 por ciento durante el Día del Maestro. “Hemos acordado con los maestros un incremento salarial del 9 por ciento que está compuesto entre prestaciones y reconocimiento al salario”, dijo Delgado.

La CNTE exige un incremento del 100 por ciento, la abrogación de la Ley del ISSSTE de 2007 y la derogación de la reforma educativa de Enrique Peña Nieto. Las autoridades reportaron cierres en Paseo de la Reforma, Avenida Juárez y Eje Central Lázaro Cárdenas.
