The Mattei Plan, an initiative launched by Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni in 2024, marks a new chapter in Italy-Africa relations. It aligns with the European Union's Africa policy, emphasizing sustainable development in areas such as energy, health, education, agriculture, and legal migration.
