Ethiopian ministry abolishes national education expansion strategy

Minister Dr. Desta Ayele stated that the strategy had effectively advanced the national 'Education for All' initiative in an organized manner. She highlighted that it created opportunities for numerous projects in the education sector, aligning with Prime Minister Dr. Abiy Ahmed's vision. The minister noted the fruitful discussions aimed at enhancing outcomes.

Particular emphasis was placed on optimizing financial resources to ensure quality improvements in education. Efforts focused on upgrading school facilities so that all genders access equitable and high-quality learning. Under the 'Education for All' banner, multiple initiatives have been undertaken to enhance school infrastructure. The ministry plans to adjust the strategy's implementation to achieve even better results at higher levels.
