Hombre detenido por presunto asesinato de su padre de 88 años

La policía de Mito, en la prefectura de Ibaraki, ha detenido a un hombre desempleado de 54 años como sospechoso de haber matado a su padre de 88 años.

La orden de arresto alega que, entre aproximadamente las 16:30 y las 20:00 horas del viernes, Takeo Sakata estranguló a su padre, Torao, en su domicilio.

Se cree que Sakata cometió el crimen después de que Torao regresara a casa de un servicio de guardería. Sakata llamó a la policía alrededor de las 20:10 horas del viernes y dijo: "Estrangulé a mi padre. No está respirando".

La policía informó que, hasta el momento, Sakata no ha declarado ningún motivo.
