The Toronto Marlies earned a 1-0 victory over the Chicago Wolves in Game 3 of the Calder Cup Finals on Tuesday night.
Artur Akhtyamov made 24 saves to secure the shutout for Toronto. Easton Cowan scored the game's only goal at 2:47 of the second period on an assist from Dakota Mermis and Vinni Lettieri.
Cayden Primeau stopped 27 shots for Chicago. The win gave the Marlies a 3-0 lead in the best-of-seven series.
Game 4 is scheduled for Thursday at Coca-Cola Coliseum in Toronto.
