Florida Panthers forward Matthew Tkachuk has been added to the United States preliminary roster for the 2026 IIHF World Championship in Switzerland. The announcement came from the American ice hockey federation on Thursday.
Tkachuk, 28, will represent the US at the tournament after helping the team secure Olympic gold earlier this year. He recorded six assists in six games during the Olympics and served as an alternate captain. He also joined his brother Brady Tkachuk to celebrate the final victory against Canada.
