On Ascension Day, a major police operation took place at the Main-Taunus Center. Officers arrested a suspicious person at the Kinopolis cinema.
Late in the afternoon police received a report about a person with a weapon-like object in the shopping passage. Numerous officers responded and located the suspect inside the Kinopolis multiplex cinema.
The individual was taken into custody. The object turned out to be a pepper spray pistol. According to police no danger existed.
The operation ended without further incidents. Investigations continue.
