Am Himmelfahrtstag kam es im Main-Taunus-Zentrum zu einem größeren Polizeieinsatz. Beamte nahmen eine verdächtige Person im Kinopolis-Kino fest.

Am späten Nachmittag erreichte die Polizei die Meldung über eine Person mit waffenähnlichem Gegenstand in der Einkaufspassage. Viele Einsatzkräfte rückten aus und trafen die Verdächtige im Multiplex-Kino Kinopolis an.

Die Person wurde festgenommen. Bei dem Gegenstand handelte es sich um eine Pfefferspray-Pistole. Eine Gefahr bestand laut Polizei nicht.

Der Einsatz endete ohne weitere Zwischenfälle. Die Ermittlungen dauern an.
