Más de 300 denuncias ante la creciente oleada de estafas por SMS sobre multas de tráfico falsas

La policía sueca ha registrado más de 300 casos de mensajes SMS fraudulentos en todo el país durante los últimos dos días, tras las advertencias iniciales sobre estafas que instan a pagar multas de tráfico a través de enlaces. Las autoridades siguen recomendando borrar los mensajes y denunciarlos.

Tras las alertas de ayer sobre SMS fraudulentos que supuestamente provienen de las autoridades policiales, las denuncias han aumentado durante el viernes y el sábado, superando las 300 a nivel nacional.

"La policía nunca enviaría ese tipo de mensajes", afirma Magnus Jansson Klarin, portavoz de prensa de RLC Mitt, señalando alertas en toda Suecia que han afectado a muchas personas.

"Instamos a la gente a borrarlos y denunciarlos. Nunca confíen en realizar pagos a través de SMS o enlaces", añade Jansson Klarin. Aunque las cantidades exactas estafadas siguen sin estar claras, la policía insiste en difundir información para prevenir más víctimas.

"Queremos que la gente difunda la información para que nadie más sea engañado", concluye.
